Alice fell on her bed, depressed. She was still in her work clothes, a secretarial outfit of a black skirt and white blouse, her panties still wet from the intern she had between her legs that afternoon. She didn’t even know his name.

Alice hated her life; her job was a repetitive secretarial work, everyday almost identical to the last; the monotony broken only by the times when she has sex with a random intern or temp. It’s only saving grace was that it was located in the same building she lived.

Her love life was a pathetic cycle of one night stands and nearly anonymous rendezvous. No emotional connections; just physical gratification. Man or woman, it didn’t matter; she would drop her panties for anyone.

“Why do I do it?” she wondered to herself. It was just repetitive empty transitory pleasure, but every time she tried getting of the cycle she’d just find herself on her knees sucking cock or licking pussy again.

The door bell to Alice’s apartment rang, breaking her out of her funk. She got up and answered it.

“Hi!” It was her friend Tiffany. “You looked down after that guy left so abruptly, so I came to cheer you up!” Tiffany lived next door; she was bi like Alice, worked at the same job, and had about the same problem with relationships. She was also still in her work clothes.

Alice wondered why she never tried to have a relationship with Tiffany. They liked each other, and had so much in common. Though saying they never had a relationship wasn’t quite accurate; they had been part of threesomes together, and had even 69’d one another; but it was always at the desire and pleasure of the other individual; but when they were alone the idea always seems … wrong. Maybe they were just worried about ruining their friendship.

“I brought movies!” Tiffany continued, “Which one do you want to watch?”

Alice smiled, it was nice to have friend when she was down. Thought she wondered if her friends generosity would be for nothing; Alice had knocked over her DVD player awhile ago and it had been acting wonky ever since.

“Well, here goes nothing.” thought Alice as she plugged in the player. A current of electricity shot through her; everything went black and she fell to the ground.

Alice bolted upright. “Ok” Alice thought to herself, “That was a weird hallucination. A sex droid start up screen; I wonder what Freud would think of that.”

Alice looked around and saw Tiffany standing by the phone, her back to her.

“Tiffany, I’m ok. I don’t think I need a hospital.” Alice said.

Tiffany didn’t respond, she just stood there totally still.

“Hey Tiffany, are you ok?” Alice asked. No Response.

Alice got up and went up to her. Tiffany had a blank look on her face staring vacantly. Alice waved a hand in front of her, still nothing.
“Yo, Tiffany Wake up!” Alice shouted; still no response.

Alice was starting to panic. What was wrong with Tiffany?!

Alice tried to call for help but the phone was dead. So she rushed out in to the hall. She was relived to see Karen, another of her neighbors.

“Karen, Thank god,” Gasped relived, “There’s something wrong with Tiffany.”

Karen didn’t respond, that was when Alice realized that Karen had the same blank stare that Tiffany had. What was going on here?!

“Hey this one this one has a nice ass!” a voice came from around the corner of the hall. Tiffany peeked around it.

There were two men dressed in maintenance outfits, with the words “Marionette World,” inscribed on their shoulders. They seemed to be looking at another frozen girl.

“They’re sex dolls, they all have nice asses.” The other man replies, “Now if you’re looking her ass tell me her designation.”

The man peered at what looked like a tattoo on the girls right butt cheek.

“It’s MOLLY – EH2157 PLEASUREDROID,” He said, “Hey, you think maybe we could… you know…”

“The boss said we could have are way with a few of them,” the other man replied, “AFTER we finish the maintenance. MOLLY – EH2157 PLEASUREDROID input command code S3XT0Y enter maintenance mode.”

The girl stood at attention and turned to the man. “Code acknowledged, disengaging standby, entering maintenance mode.” The girl droned in monotone.

“Grant access to internals.” the man commanded.

“Command accepted,” the girl said in the same monotone “Granting access to internal systems.”

The girl undid her shirt then pressed on the flesh between her breasts; there was a hiss and a flesh cover panel came away revealing an array of electronics.

Alice pinned herself to the wall, confused and terrified at what she had just seen and its implications. What should she do?
