You have no weapon of your own, but given how she struggles even to remain upright, you favor your chances against her – and you also spy a spare blade slung from her own wide hips.

She steps forward to deliver an overhanded swing, and while she cannot bring much force behind the attack, gravity alone is enough to give lethal momentum to the heavy blade. You duck to the side and the blade bites into the cracked earth where you were standing. As she struggles to lift it once more, you pull the smaller sword from her own sheath. Snarling with effort, she jerks her two-handed sword back in preparation for another swing, but leaves herself exposed. You drive the sword in the unarmored gap at her chest with as much force as you can muster. You are taken aback when the wound leaks what appears to be blood, but a moment later realize this is only for show.

“Y-you’ve slain me!” she gasps, sparks suddenly leaping from the now less-convincing injury. Her body jerks rigidly upright as she stares dumbfounded at the blade protruding from her breast. “S-s-slain mmmeee!” she stammers, electricity flitting around the embedded blade. She staggers backward, a secondary voice narrating a litany of failures occurring within the stunned warrior-bot. “She’s cursed this-this-this land,” she continues, her stiff legs carrying her aimlessly as smoke begins to wisp from her mouth and ears. “I must kill the witch kill the witch killthewitch killthewitch-“ her words flow faster and she turns to the land bridge leading to the tower, but after only a few paces, she steps off the side.

You hear a crash and look to see the motionless robot warrior lying on a cracked display, the broken panel ruining the projected illusion of a bottomless canyon.
