A sizzling noise permeates the air as steam rises from the witch. She stares down at herself in disbelief, her synthetic flesh running off of her in syrupy rivers of green, offering faint glimpses of her grey robotic endolayer beneath.

“I’m <bzzzzt> melting!” she screeches in a digitized voice, and Skena draws back her blade, swinging it in a clean arc, neatly separating the witch’s head from her shoulders. The witch’s gloved hands swipe aimlessly at the absence of her head before she collapses into a steaming, bubbling heap.
