Recently I inherited an old Rockwell 480 'Elle' series. She's pretty battered up, but using spares that closely approximate the old circuiry, I've been able to bring her online.

She's not exactly lucid, her AI is barely functional. Most of her core memory is missing, but she can read. The other evening while I was trying to repair some more of her glitches, a breakthrough.... with this forum on my monitor, and with her only functioning optical circuit, and she started to read.

I havent been able to get her back online since.... I may never fully understand its meaning.
