Wandering cat After many hours of roof traveling and hissing to other male cats, a scraggy black cat turns into an alley ready to hunt scraps of food. Several electronic components lie piled and forgotten on trash containers, but the animal ignores them all. Just for a second, it stops at seeing a humanoid figure in the corner. Then It approaches cautiously expecting attention. At exploring the frozen humanoid, the animal receives a faint human-like scent from the ice-cold skin of the shutdown robot's leg. The temperature of the night would be extremely uncomfortable for a human being. Yet the robot remains clothless bent in an angle that exposes her anatomically correct features. The only elements that separate her exterior from an apparent perfect human replica are her emerged maintenance hatch; That allows access to her main, non-servomotor hardware, such as memory and behavior control boards, And her damaged charging coupling interface ejected from her pelvic system. Out of malice, the feline jumped on the back of the woman ignoring its purring. The pressure of the cat was enough to activate the robot's maintenance panel lockdown; the emerged box inserted back into her chest cavity as multiple electronic beeping restarted the shutdown android*.

After several minutes of rebooting Catherine controlling software loaded into her memory. She stood perfectly motionless as a long electronic beep indicated she was ready to interact with the environment. Her unblinking eyes started scanning as her artificial retina lighted up. She looked at the cat expressionless as it cleaned itself with its tongue pretending feline indifference. Then Catherine looked forward as she analyzed the information received so far. The temperature was pretty adequate for her functions, as it minimized the energy for cooling down her systems and she was a few kilometers from the nearest personally known location. Turning back she found most of her belongings on a trash container. Her silent stare suggested contempt, but more pressing matters took her attention. Her stored energy levels were below 25% and she would require to administrate her resources tightly. She registered her damaged interface, her loading mechanism retracted her extensor but there was not enough energy to attempt repairs. Catherine took a discarded newspaper and covered her breasts. The gesture was not modesty. Her large areolas had the aesthetical function of suggesting biological symmetry for inviting purposes. Her mammaries suggested extreme fertility. Therefore she had to reduce the output as she calculated a route to a safe place. Her energy levels dropped to 24%. She needed to shutdown more functions.
