In fembot terminology, monotone voice is the case where a fembot speaks in a monotone voice. In addition to speaking in a monotone, they may also have clipped speech, or a partially digital quality to their voice.
Monotone voice is one way of telling someone is an android, aside from open panels, visible seams, or unrealistic skin.
