After the faintest of twitches, she arches a delicate eyebrow. “Do you?” She gestures to the smoldering warrior-bot at the bottom of the stairs. “If you need a core, why not hers? She’s certainly not using it…”
“I need them both.”
“Well, you shan’t have mine,” she says firmly, then coyly adding, “At least not until I’ve been… compensated…”
