I had been considering writing a story dealing with this theme. I had a Courtesy Suites sort of thing in mind. It would be a cruise ship line that would make androids available as Courtesy Suites or to buy packages to have something special with the crew (ala James Bond-ish things like reprogramming the ship's captain to fulfill some mission).
