'''Recharge''' is when an android is being recharged.
A '''recharge''' scene is that which shows an android having her power supply recharged.

In gynoid related fiction and media, recharging often has a cord either coming out of the android to be plugged into an outlet, or an external cord connected to the android from an outlet.
This is frequently depicted in older works as a fembot being directly plugged into a power source through an open panel or exposed socket, such as a generator or battery, though more modern works can also feature a fembot connected to or standing in a "cradle" device similar to a cell phone charger. This is frequently used as an android version of sleeping, and is one of a number of means of displaying said character's artificial nature. It can also be used as a set up to show that an android character needs to recharge, and that failure to do so could lead to an android character [[Shut-down|shutting down]].

In some cases, the android is offline while recharging, however some androids are able to recharge while they are still online.

Casella Reese recharging in the movie Cyborg²

A recharge scene is that which shows an android having her power supply recharged.

It can also be used as a set up to show that an android character needs to recharge, and that failure to do so could lead to an android character shutting down.
