Katy was Dr. Franklin's assistant. She was the first fembot shown on the TV series The Bionic Woman, and is one of the most popular female robots among technosexuals.

Janice Whitby played Katy in the three-part Kill Oscar episode of the show. Under Dr. Franklin's numbering scheme, she was Fembot 01, and was the first "finished product" to be shown to one of Dr. Franklin's financiers.
