A recharge scene is that which shows an android having her power supply recharged.
When recharging is shown in TV or movies, there is often a power cord plugged into an open access panel or other entry point. The other end of this cord leads to a power supply, such as an electrical power outlet or a generator. In some cases, the android is offline while recharging. Some androids are able to recharge while they are still online though.
