In fembot terminology, disassembly is the case where a fembot is taken apart. This can involve the removal of limbs and/or hardware components, or it can involve the systematic destruction of the fembot's body.

Disassembly can occur due to damage, maintenance or repair. When it is portrayed in movies and television, it is usually accomplished through physical props or computer graphic effects.
