#REDIRECT [[Robotic voice]]

In fembot terminology, '''monotone voice''' is the case where a fembot speaks in a monotone voice.  In addition to speaking in a monotone, they may also have clipped speech, or a partially digital quality to their voice.

Monotone voice is one way of telling someone is an android, aside from open panels, visible seams, or unrealistic skin.  Monotone voice was mainly employed in the days where it was too expensive to have visible panels, and it made the person playing the android have to act more like a robot than those who now have special effects to back them up.
