A comprehensive list of Independent Productions containing fembots and equivalents. Due to the nature of these, some may not have video links...especially the short films, many of which were school projects and have been removed. If you like a video, you should download it immediately as it could be removed or lost at any moment.

  • 50% Off Mail Order Bride
    • Synopsis: A man is unhappily married to his robotic wife when he falls in love with a human woman. After throwing out his robotic wife, he is served with a court summons and discovers his robotic wife is suing him for half of everything he owns. Because he also owns half of everything she owns, he gets to take half of her, her bottom half. He has a little bit of fun with it before it finally ends up smothering him in bed, still under the control of the upper half.

    • Synopsis: The land has been destroyed by excessive consumption of human self, the latest evidence of the existence of mankind, is an autonomous robot called 9662, which was designed with the ability to retain all the important events of the earth in its memory . This machine or woman in their physical appearance, is the legacy of humanity.

  • Android Night Punch
    • Synopsis: A fembot named Sam escapes from her creators by ripping out one of the hearts. In one scene, two men talk while a fembot curiously watches them. They order the fembot to deactivate her sense of hearing while they do so.

  • Android Re-Enactment
    • Synopsis: Ermus, a nostalgic scientist uses android copies of people to re-create a dinner party where ten years earlier, he had been humiliated in front of the girl he loves. When one of the androids escapes from the simulation, the lines between memory and reality are blurred even more, culminating into a chaotic nightmare.

  • Can't Build Me Love
    • Synopsis: Brokenhearted Mike just can't get over his old love Carrie, so he spends most of his time blogging about how miserable his life is. Suddenly his roommate Rob unveils the project he's been working on for years: a fully functioning robot girl... which he wants Mike to test by taking her on a date. Although resistant at first, Mike warms up to her quickly in the quirky sci-fi/romantic-comedy/drama.

  • IM Short movie - Circus Android
    • Synopsis: A brief animation showing a fembot in a circus performers outfit being decapitated by a mechanical elephant. Her disembodied head remains active on the ground.

  • Date 1.0
    • Synopsis: Far too neurotic to actually go on a date, Asimov451 and FuturaMaria are two socially challenged geniuses seeking to unravel the mysteries of lucrative courting. The two pit their dating androids, Clyde and Guenevere, in a synthetic battle of the sexes. Stumbling their way through a series of dates and romantic misadventures, Clyde and Guenevere find there is more going on inside of them than just 1's and 0's. Unfortunately, their emotionally crippled creators can't allow anything to taint their pale portrait of love. Without mercy the scientists wage a war of insensitivity, infidelity, and breast augmentation. Can romance flourish in the face of artifice and cynicism? Love may be the one glitch they can't debug.

  • Dreams from a Petrified Head
    • Synopsis: A man is doing research on the long deceased former leader of a growing faction in the population that dislikes the dystopia. He decides to recreate her using her confiscated memories in an android copy of her body in order to learn more about her and the movement. She manages to sway him with her philosophy and both eventually opt for suicide at the end.

  • Eau Du Human
    • Synopsis: In the future, highly realistic robots have replaced most of society. A handful of Humans band together in solidarity in order to overthrow them, but one android in the form of a woman is sent in, with a perfume that makes her smell more Human.

    • Synopsis: Gave, an Android technician at a prostitution house implements feelings to Isabelle, Android, a sex slave as an experiment. She discovers pleasure, but also devastation. At the end of the story, Gave turns her off to eliminate further pain.

  • The Future Committee
    • Synopsis: Sooner or later, everything gets replaced. But the experience of “being replaced” varies depending on what you are. Living creatures get old, and give way to progeny. Machines break down, and give way to technological advancements. Meanwhile, Dr. Adam Porter is beginning to understand the experience of both. A famed researcher in robotics, Dr. Porter (along with his unscrupulous partner, Dr. Christian Hanson) is in the process of perfecting his latest creation: Eve. And yet, as The Future Committee awaits the unveiling, he is beginning to have doubts about the implications of his work. How do we know when we have gone too far? Has “advancement” become a dangerous, perhaps suicidal, habit? How do we negotiate between the fear and love we simultaneously feel for the things we create to replace us?

  • Heart Pumping Oil
    • Synopsis: In a common city, in the not-so-distant future, two young women carry out a plan to defy the system. Sparrow (Jing Song) must free Destiny (Kassie Rehorn) from a tracking device that monitors her every move and traps her in a life of assigned servitude. As their eventful journey unfolds, Sparrow is forced to decide between her love for Destiny and a final hope for what is left of mankind.

  • Human Revolution - Deus Ex
    • Synopsis: Based on the video game Deus Ex Human Revolution, the film dives into the world of Adam Jensen, a Sarif industries' security consultant that gets augmented after an incident that almost took his life away. Although the film doesn't follow the narrative of the game exactly, it remains true to the theme while focusing on the relationship between Adam Jensen, and his ex girlfriend Megan Reed, a scientist hand picked by Serif Industries to head Cybernetic Augmentations. Megan is taken by the Illuminati and is asked to assist them in turning on a mysterious device but she refuses to cooperate. Jensen has been looking for Megan since she was kidnapped and has finally pinpointed her location. Adam faces a complication that he did not account for; Yelena Federova, an Augmented assassin is at the facility where Megan is being held. The film also taps, even if briefly, into Adam's mind and the struggle he must face on daily basis.

    • Synopsis: When a fashion model is found murdered on his set, photographer Brendan Holloway begins to suspect that his new muse isn't to be trusted. One of the models he photographs is a perfect, robotic female arm that can easily be posed in the correct position.

With the assistance of an exiled male android salvaging in the wasteland, she discovers the means to end her abusive captivity, but at what cost?

    • Synopsis: In a future not too far from now, humanity has advanced to a point where the line between Homo Sapiens and Androids have blurred completely. This has occurred so that the species could survive. Technology has allowed humans to travel into deep space to colonize other planets and galaxies deep in the universe because Earth has become uninhabitable. One of the many unfortunate results of this robotic Darwinism is that human behavior and consciousness has also changed over the years. Much of what makes one human -- love, family, intimacy etc., have all become things of the past. Almost legend...

    • Synopsis: ROSA is an epic sci-fi short film that takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where all natural life has disappeared. From the destruction awakes Rosa, a cyborg deployed from the Kernel project, mankind’s last attempt to restore the earth’s ecosystem. Rosa will soon learn that she is not the only entity that has awakened and must fight for her survival.

    • Synopsis: On the final day of his life, an android has an unexpected encounter that alters the course of his existence. THE TRAIL'S END is a short film written and directed by David Rosenbaum that explores a re-telling of a classic; Bonnie and Clyde...or rather the prologue. It highlights the moment that the two meet and how their journey together begins. Sometimes the end, is just the beginning.

    • Synopsis: Version 0.9 is a murder story set in the near-future. Dr. Penn has creates the first fully sentient Artificial Intelligence system and puts it through tests. However, the newly created life-form knows of past mistakes and will not continue with the tests until it is backed-up onto an older model. The scientists have no choice but to comply and later find out their mistake.

He lives in a world where mechanical BTRs (Better Than Reals) mediate every social interaction, so that people no longer have to interact with one another. In order to survive a double date filled with a series of malfunctions, both personal and mechanical, Godfrey must stop hiding, put down his controller, and reach out.

    • Synopsis: A mock commercial showcasing the features of the Candy Doll.

  • Comic Potential
    • Summary: Idealistic young writer Adam Trainsmith meets Chandler Tate, a former director of classic comedies, who makes a living by directing a never-ending soap opera. The leading-role android makes a series of mistakes. Supporting role android JC-F31-333, spots his lapses and laughs. Later on, while Adam is watching old slapstick comedy, JC-F31-333 laughs again. She is afraid that the sense of humour is a production fault. Adam sees it as an advantage. He nicknames his favourite android Jacie and persuades Chandler that they should make a comedy for her. Regional TV director Carla Pepperbloom threatens to ruin the project. She is jealous of Adam's sympathy for talented Jacie and orders the android's memory wiped. Adam panics and decides to kidnap Jacie. While on the escape, Adam and Jacie fall in love.

  • La Meccanica dell'Amore
    • Summary: A stage production of a 90 year old man with his Chambermaid 7800. She frequently malfunctions and needs repair.

  • Motherboard
    • Summary: In "Motherboard," the year is 2465, twenty years after a violent uprising of sentient machines slaughtered two-thirds of the global population. Humanity struggles to survive, with the despised military government more worried about why the machines chose to deactivate than building a new world from nuclear-irradiated ashes. Enter C-12, the finest specimen of a preserved robot the forces have found. The play opens with her dissection.

  • Really Old, Like Forty Five
    • Summary: A robotic nurse accompanies a policy official who has nefarious plans for the elderly population.

  • The Tales of Hoffmann - Olympia
    • Summary: Hoffmann's first love is Olympia, an automaton created by the scientist Spalanzani. Hoffmann falls in love with her, not knowing that Olympia is a mechanical doll ("Allons! Courage et confiance...Ah! vivre deux!"). Nicklausse, who knows the truth about Olympia, sings a story of a mechanical doll that looked like a human to warn Hoffmann, but is ignored by him ("Une poupée aux yeux d'émail"). Coppélius, Olympia's co-creator and this act's incarnation of Nemesis, sells Hoffmann magic glasses which make Olympia appear as a real woman ("J'ai des yeux"). Olympia sings one of the opera's most famous arias, "Les oiseaux dans la charmille" ("The Doll Song"), in which she periodically runs down and needs to be wound up before she can continue. Hoffmann is tricked into believing that his affections are returned, to the bemusement of Nicklausse, who subtly tries to warn his friend ("Voyez-la sous son éventail"). While dancing with Olympia, Hoffmann falls on the ground and his glasses break. At the same time, Coppélius appears and tears Olympia apart, in retaliation for having been tricked out of his fees by Spalanzani. With the crowd laughing at him, Hoffmann realizes that he was in love with an automaton. This act is based on a portion of "Der Sandmann" (The Sandman).
