Beyond the door is a stark and lifeless landscape scarred by a jagged chasm. A dull orange sun, muted by a thick band of dark clouds, casts the rocky terrain in a melancholy twilight. Directly above the chasm’s center stands a twisted and spined tower of black stone, built upon a land bridge stretching from the tower’s arched doorway to the rocky outcropping marking the entrance of this chamber.

Slumped against a crumbling stone plinth at the foot of the bridge is a prodigious female warrior, a massive sword lying across her thick and muscled thighs. Her tanned limbs are crossed with straps of worn leather that holds armor plates backed in soft fur, but much of her flesh is exposed, including an ample bosom half-cupped in armor that would offer little protection in battle. Tangled red hair obscures the warrior’s face, flowing from beneath her horned helm and over pauldrons inscribed in knotwork.

The almost perfect illusion of the fantasy world created by the fully functional projection screens is only marred by tiny mechanical noises of the warrior-woman as she belatedly activates.

“Ah suppose you’ve come to face the witch?” She speaks in a rumbling brogue, not bothering to lift her head. “Or perhaps you’re already in har thrall?”

I’m here to face the witch

I’m in her thrall

What’s going on here?
