As Pamina continues to sing her sorrowful aria, insisting that she cannot live without your love, the attendant begins to twitch and sputter, singing, “You are stubborn and prideful and you are lost! Pamina’s life shall be the cost!” though her voice is tinged with distortion. Her cleavage begins to glow, smoke seeping from her ears.
