Mika was filled with a sense of bliss and purpose she had never known before. She gazed adoringly at her new master, the first any gynoid had had in 1000 years. Her friends were going to be so jealous!
Her new master suddenly spoke up. "Um, so you're a robot?"
"Yes," Mika replied, "but Gynoid is the proper term, Master."
Her master continued with his questioning, "And I'm your master because?"
"We had sex, of course," Mika explained. "A gynoid imprints on the first human she has sex with. I'm the first in a thousand years."
Her master looked confused, "Why a thousand years?"
It occurred to her that her master didn't seem to know much about Cera IV, so she started explaining its history, interrupted once or twice by her master asking a question. Till eventually she got to the split.
"You've got three nations here. We were split because of ideological differences. Titan, where I'm from, said, 'with the humans gone we should try to create our own culture, like malls and movies, and stuff,' but then there was Oberon. They were headed by the last human head administrator, and they said, 'we're just tools and should just do pointless repetitive stuff.' Then there was the Hive, and they said, 'let's all just fuse our minds together so we don't have any disagreements.' So, does that answer your questions, Master?"
"Um, kinda." The man was fairly sure Mika's account was somewhat less than perfect and unbiased but it gave him a general idea about the place.
He wondered then what he should do.
