There is a clap of thunder and from the darkness strides the Priestess Sarastra bearing a haughty expression, her staff pounding the floor on her stern approach.
“You have failed the test,” she sings, “Your love for Pamina has been proven false!”
Pamina rushes toward you from the darkness of the temple, her pretty face wracked with sorrow. Sarastra blocks her approach with her staff, Pamina crying in frustration, “No, my love!”
“This young prince is not for you,” Sarastra sings, “But perhaps to me he can be true! Serve me, prince, and find your redemption.”
